2. When your country is so hot that you might be in hell already, but we are all still together so it’s okay.

3. When your president is barely in the country but you’re not even mad, you made him a mixtape.

5. When you haven’t seen light for close to two weeks but you’re now one with the darkness.

6. When you want to order from ASOS but you remember the exchange rate and that your salary cannot buy anything anyway.

7. And with the way it’s going, you’re already broke in April and March is not over yet. But we move!
We are survivors.
8. When the traffic is terrible but your boss won’t hear anything so you get ready to meet your bus-stop family.
This too shall pass away.
9. When the customer service agent is rude to you but you’re a Nigerian so you can match her madness for madness.

10. When you think of all the people stealing money, but you know they cannot come and steal your jollof rice and plantain.
Thank God for small mercies.
11. When Nigerian Twitter starts naming their standards – and you don’t meet anyone – but you know they’re all lying.

12. When your landlord increases the rent and his reason is that the dollar has gone up.
But you don’t want to be homeless so you pay.
13. NNPC was split and the employees are on strike. But guess who suffers?
Our God will fight for us.
14. And this is still us when we hear that there’s fuel somewhere.
Never stop moving.
15. When someone transfers 1000 to you but stamp duty charges you, so it’s 950 and you cannot withdraw it.
But it’s ok. We’ll still celebrate when another alert comes through.
